Add fixed and custom time period for budgets.
User must be able to select the duration of a budget. Either fixed or custom. For fixed, user must have the option to set a number then the drop down for the duration (Day/s, Week/s, Month/s) starting the day it was set. For custom, it should bring up the calendar with 2 tabs. One is a 'From' tab and the other is a 'To' tab.
Time period will have 2 radio buttons for 'Fixed' and 'Custom'.
Fixed:
Format: '#' » 'time'.
Example: 5 Day/s; 2 Week/s; 1 Month/s
Custom:
Format: Calendar with 2 tabs (From and To)
Example: From: March 6, 2016 To: April 17, 2016.
This is close or similar to what Money Lover uses for their app but I think it will be better and more precise.
Hope this will be considered.

That is really one thing that I miss in this app. Without custom dates the budget feature is kind of useless for me. Are you planning to implement it? If so then when?

Also would like this. I get paid on 25th of each month so my budgets run from 25th to 24th

This would be great! I get paid monthly on the 20th, so my monthly budget runs 20th - 19th.

Another idea/modification for this:
Radio button for Fixed or Custom.
Fixed:
This Day, This Week, This Month
With check box to repeat.
Custom:
Same approach as original post. Brings up calendar with two tabs. A "From" tab and "To" tab.
