Monthly Budget may differ
Well from my perspective categorized monthly budget amount may differ (marginally) every month. What I meant is when i changed the budget amount for existing month it was observed that the last month budget too got updated, which seems to be a design issue.

The description on the Play store includes "budgeting tool" which I think is very flawed and does not help much with budgeting. This post is one of the reasons.
- Another reason: no amount on total budget, so I have to pull out a calculator to see what my total planned spend is for the month.
- Others might use it, but I find the Planned Payments a bit unnecessary. If I create a planned payment, but no budget category for it, it doesn't show up in the budget. Also, surely if I set up a budget of 200€ for a category, I'm planning to spend that much (or hopefully less).
- Someone else mentioned the option of an "Auto budget" which I think is great. It would be great if the app creates an auto budget based on past spend and then you can adjust as needed for the month.
- I've created a tag / label for certain transactions indicating recurring i.e. monthly, transactions. In the budget if you could have a "duplicate" but separate budget indicating your monthly bills.
Before I left South Africa, I used a local budgeting app. It was for free, no ads and it was much more powerful than this app. Especially the budgeting part.
This is a fatal flaw of this app, which is really unfortunate because otherwise I'm very happy with it. We recently needed to change our budget, but there is no way to do it without screwing up past budget data. I am very upset to have paid for premium before discovering this serious flaw. If they do not fix it I call hair to find a different app and post a review warning people that unless they NEVER need to change their budget, they should steer clear. Other minor issues with this otherwise great appy ou can workaround, but this one you can't, and it completely ruins the app for us. I don't want to find a different budgeting app to use, but looks Iike I have to.
I agree. One could have planned to buy something and budget it for the next 2 or 3 months or maybe pay taxes on a specific month of the year. That way, it would not make sense for that value to reflect across all months.
One extra thing to add. In the budget view, there's no place showing the sum of the budgeted categories.
