SEPARATE CATEGORY SYSTEM FOR BANK ACCOUNTS, AND BRING THE CUSTOMIZABLE BACK
its been more than 2 years over since peoples asking for customisable category, so there should be a big reason behind you don't let it be,
that is why i'am suggesting this idea,
"Individual category structure for bank integrated accounts"
i mean two category system, fixed and customozable
it will allow to bring back the customizable category structure for all other account which are cash account and general accounts etc..
Guys, i found a expense manager app a far better than this, called Money lover, just try , definitely you will be happy with that
They're not going to add custom categories because it'll ruin their business model of data mining. By not enabling custom categories, they have structured data that is the same from person to person. Imagine everyone having different categories, they can't use that data, there's no consistency.
By keeping it the same for everyone, they can continue to data mine consistently, but of course they won't tell you that.

We are not able to remove and add categories, but we can rename and hide existing ones. I spent a day to create my own categorization and I found out I need less categories and subcategories than we have now. I even had to hide some of categories. But I have 2 issues now.
1. Hidden categories can be found when I create a new expense. Those hidden categories are not on the list, but can be found using search. It should not be possible.
2. In many places (like budgets or graphs/statistics) default names are shown and it brings confusion.
I am still not sure what kind of issues I will observe related to my change of categories structure.
However I attached my category structure in Excel spreadsheet. Maybe it will be useful for anybody. (it is in Polish).
This is the only thing stopping me going premium in an otherwise great app.
At least consider adding this functionality only in premium version, or let us add subcategories at least. We can only add sub-subcategories and this is really limitating for a budget-tracker app. I think this is the best I found online, but if this won't change I will consider going on another app
we are asking this for years, please, if so i will buy premium, and this definitely this will be a reason for so many people to buy
atleast consider this guys
