WEB: CSS Improvement
Sry for the last msg, sent by mistake.
THe fact is that u guys have an awesome product, but the web version, cleary in beta as u said, have some issues.
I loved the project, so I decided to get engaged.
Your top bar is settled as non-opaque and when u roll it, the shadow is created. I advise u guys to turn the top bar 100% opaque in this point.
The icons seems to be in low quality. Are them a tipography? I devise u guys to use the tipography approach.
The twitter bootstrap look is a really safe choice but i think you guys already choosed to be more sophisticated so I would use something more like yout mobile app.
Hope u best guys.
Thank you for possitive feedback.
We deeply appreciate that you got engaged and published your opinion.
1.) Top bar - now it's 10% transparent and might be sometimes hard to read. So ok, why not.
2.) Icons seem sharp at the moment. But anyway will soon switch to glyphicons.com meaning using icon font. So they will be perfectly sharp in any size.
3.) Twitter bootstrap - yes, as you mentioned safe, trends resistant UI to start with. But we are using it less and less, making custom builds... planing to stay only with the tiniest core necessary for AngularUI components.
4.) Overall solutions - as mentioned, we decided to build the web app with AngularJS + AngularUI suite, Highcharts charting library and d3js data visualizations. REST backend runs on Java Play framework. If you got any ideas or recommendations for better looking or better performance solutions, we listen.
