IMPROVEMENT: Bring the old "Wallet" icon back
Your new icon is more relevant but EXTREMELY generic and uninteresting. From a marketing perspective it will not get people's attention. It looks like an icon purchased from a stock library and does not do a good job of representing your brand image and it's appeal to young people. The old icon was fun and catchy and played a big part in drawing me in to investigate what you did. I really hope you revert to the old one. Or just make minor changes to the old one. It was awesome.

Hi Steve, it would be great to point to someone, who will be good enough to help us in creating new icon. We did an experiment and new green wallet icon was almost twice more successful than the older donut icon. So the users choose it. But i would rather to come up with something more interesting and less generic exactly as you said.

16/09...the donut returned.... I don't like it!!!! Steve you talked about marketing perspective .... a donut has nothing to do with it. What does it have to do with "Wallet"? Though the wallet is " generic" I prefer it because it has to do with "Wallet". Marketing perspective.... a brand must show what the company is, and the app has used the same icon for a long time now, I think that " generic" icon has become "Wallet" app brand, and Wallet users feel so. If a change must be done, they must be gradual, and hearing what users have to say. May be a more stylised wallet, or including a letter....but donut had nothing to do with it, it has to do with food or coffee or breakfast. That is my opinion
