IMPROVEMENT: Option to change date format: (MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY, YYYY/MM/DD, etc.)
Date format is driven by android system time setup.

lol, this clearly won't be implemented any time soon...
Marco got it right 4 years ago!
thankfully, changing the system language does help a bit.
it's no international format yet, and above all it doesn't help on importing... but well... it's not like there's a better wallet out there, sadly!
or is there?
please, let me know! 😘
Holy shit why is this still under review??????
Ffs I come looking to find how to change this idiotic date format (which is based on the historic speech impediment of uneducated people in one single country) back to the logical globally used progression by unit size DD/MM/YYYY and find it's been deliberately neglected for 4+ years?!?!?!?
This has been "under review" for 4 years. When are you likely to finish the review?
The current date format is so confusing to me. I am used to formats like this: dd/mm/yyyy where the month is in the middle and not the date. I really hope that you can implement this simple feature.

This really should be a feature by now. It's not even that difficult to Implement.

It's been over 2 years but it hasn't been implemented. That's too bad.
Reinhard Labuschagne commented
It makes no sense that one is not able to change this. It is poor practice to enforce a developer's ways on users.
Unbelievable that is not implemented yet, it's literally a few hours work (max) for an intern developer!
Just change the damn *display* format when viewing records etc etc, would take me 5 minutes.
Kinda shameful really.

How can this not have been implemented yet, it is two years since it was posted!

Although the default should be set according to the Operating System configured locale, the user should be allowed to override the default setting with the most common options including:
- YYYY-MM-DD ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601 )

The date format throughout the app should match the date format that the user selects for his phone. It currently is MM/DD/YYYY
